Most business start marketing the same way. They talk to an agency, a freelancer, or someone they know and ask questions like: Can we do Ads? Can we run Instagram campaigns? Can we do performance marketing?
The answer is almost always yes.
Not because it is the right move, but because it is technically possible. From there, things usually follow a familiar pattern. Campaigns are set up. Content is produced. Budget is spent.
Weeks or months later, you look at the results and realize something uncomfortable. Some things worked a little. Many things did not. And you still do not really know why. The core problem is not execution. The problem is that decisions were based on assumptions instead of proof. Agencies are built to execute. They are rarely built to tell you what not to do.
